Hi Erich, thanks for the reply. Yes the cowls or the bearer frame needs
modifying
in order to get the 914 with turbo under the cowls. Because of the 4" forward
and 1.5" hight difference the XS cowl was developed. Here in the UK any
modifying
to the cowl or frame needs to be tested and the findings put forward to
the LAA for approval which all takes time, money and effort which just prolongs
the time it takes to get into the air. Thanks again
