Hi Tony
Don't try and tidy it up as you put it, the copper sleeve has been forced
round and into the wire strands by the squeeze. If you were to cut across
the finished nicopress sleeve and wire joint you would see that it is almost
welder together. More importantly during the squeeze you are work hardening
the copper sleeve, more squeezing could cause fatigue cracks.
Best of luck
Richard

Gidday,
Quick question.why cant I tidy up a nicopress and squeeze it 90 degrees
rotated after the first squeeze, to tidy the compress? If the first squeeze
is correct, the second squeeze shouldnt disturb the consequences of the
first, should it??
