I am sure that you have heard the expression that there are pilots who have
landed gear up and then there are those who will :)

A very experienced corporate pilot who rented space in my hanger recently
landed his Comanche with the gear up, so I think it's just an accident
waiting to happen.

I am planning to install Mark Burton's SmartASS so I thought I might as
well use the gear warning feature.  In terms of human-machine interface I
understand that this is as good as it gets for transferring critical
information.  You never know, it might help me one day.
