Ian,
I have just installed mine and I put it on the ceiling in baggage bay area, this
being the most benign magnetic area. You could do it just in front of or behind
this bulkhead. Using the Dynon 15 foot harness it works out fine. For
brackets,
its easy enough to make 5 ply bid layup over some appropriately sized
box tubing and then use them glued to the ceiling. Also smart to devise a means
for slight adjustments, as you have read, the ADAHRS module needs to be within
1 degree of pitch and yaw axis. And this location is easily with in the
distance from cg requirements. Handy to use 90 degree angle tubing fittings for
connections.
