Hi Richard

To comply with the LAA regulations i did fit a sight tube, but I kept
it to the minimum length i could get away with,
It comes up between the strb seat and tunnel and runs up the seat backrest
then routed over the top of the tank to the
Cobra filler pipe,
I calibrated it on the ground and it gives a accurate reading and is
helpful to watch the clear pipe filling up
towards the cobra when my tank is nearly full, But is not much use in the
air
I also know exactly how much fuel is in the aircraft before putting any
more in which is helpful, have included a couple of pics to give you the
idea of what was done,

regards
Ivor
