Paul at Parts for Aircraft told me that the MGL will talk to the ATR 833 -
which is the basis on which I bought one!

I too have been researching the comms. for some time.
The Garmin SL40 doesn't support 8.33 but does talk to the MGL Efis that i'm
fitting. (change frequency from the Efis screen) The XCom 760 doesnt
support 8.33 but does talk to the MGL Efis.
The ATR 833 does support 8.33 but doesn't appear to talk to the MGL,
It's all a bit of a mish mash,
If any one knows of a comms. that does both and is preferably 2 1/4" panel
cut out then please let me know,
