Europa-List: Wing step reenforcement

I remember reading a couple of years ago about some of the builders reinforcing
the wing area where people will step on the wing.  I have tried finding it again
and can only find Mike Duane's comment about doing it, but no details.

Is it worth doing?

If so how are you doing it?
