The comments on the Rad cap made me wonder whether anyone has tracked
down a Ducatti rectifier.
As usual the Rotax price seems out of line for a part that appears to
fail regularly.
I tried the local Ducatti dealer, but they needed a motorcycle model
to find the part.
The rectifier has cured my low voltage problem. Interestingly the
battery was only able to hold
a 75% charge, but I must admit to not checking voltage on start up so
I've no idea how long this was the case.
One more thing to add to my checklist.
