Not sure of the grade or hardness, but I intend to try and find out, we just
used to
buy them and bolt them on, they did turn blue occasionally if you really
gave them a
hard time, but I couldnt see them getting anywhere near the same punishment
when
on an aircraft, as speed will generally be a lot lower and weight is only up
about 100kg
and its normally only one big stop and your done

Can't answer that,  but have you any info on the grade and hardness of the
stainless material used?
