All,

I wonder if Poly Fiber's Tubeseal can be used as well as a substitute for
the ACF50. It says on the container

" containing a very fine preservative oil, mil spec. l-21260, which has a
characteristic of climbing the tube wall and spreading over the entire
surface to provide lasting protection. Prevents rust and corrosion inside
aircraft tubing structures."

Another set of questions:

The instruction of Mod 72 states:
" Thoroughly coat the insert with etch primer, including the bore, and allow
to dry completely."

I am not sure about :
A- How do you uniformly coat the inside of the inserts (and probably the
inside of the tubes too) ?
B- Don't you scrape the primer off again when you drive the insets into the
tubes and therefore make the coating useless?

Wonder how others have done this.
