After almost 4 months (three days short). we finally got an FAA
airworthiness certificate today. So we now have a new N number and are legal
to fly in the USA. Tomorrow I start to put everything back together after
the inspection and hopefully take to the skies. The actual FAA inspection
was a fairly painless experience consisting of mainly paperwork checks. It
actually proved a bit of an anti climax after spending several days
preparing for a full and in depth inspection process. The main thing is we
are now legal to fly. I just gotta get used to the new N number instead of
the G registration. Anyone interested in the process of importing a home
