Hi Sven,
I have made a pair of light-weight ply seat backs to support the lower half
of the back cushion. The ply seat back is supported by triangles and fills
the lower half (below the spar), so that the angle of the upper half is
projected downwards to meet the seat pan. I have sat with that arrangement
for over 4 hrs flying and find it very comfortable.
