The cynic in me wants to reply: "Because you haven't paid thousands of
pounds/dollars/euros more for the certified version? The label on yours is
different to the certified one."

Probably not entirely accurate, but possibly not entirely inaccurate,
either!

Why does the operators manual for the 914 say that aircraft equipped
with this engine must only fly in VFR conditions?
