You would need to check also that the truss tubes are continued through the
ring mount tube (i.e. entering a hole in the front of the ring mount tube
and exiting for a short distance through a matching hole in the rear) and
not just butt-welded to the surface of the ring mount tube. Rotax made this
mistake on the early versions of the ring mount, which didn't work
(surprise, surprise!).
