Mattias,

Is a seed being planted for a Super Europa ala the Super Connie?

By chance just last evening I had a long conversation w/ Alex Bowman, a
Europa driver and retired CAN Air Force test pilot, and he recalled how he
and his engineer had discussed integral wing tanks forward of the spar with
all the plumbing running thru a 3" dia. hole in the wing root rib.
Ultimately he elected not to install them, but I believe he was satisfied
that it was feasible from an engineering standpoint. We did not discuss
possible issues w/ regard to fuel contamination of the glass and foam.

Alex's email is: amhd@shaw.ca
