Richard,

As you know my bird has the same 912s as yours. Difference is that mine does
not consume any noticable amounts of oil. She has done 270 hours using
recomended semi-synthetics.
Until today, I thought that this normal. I would not have thought 1-2 litres
to be normal every 50hours.
No doubt someone will be responding to suggest that using 'no oil' is
something to worry about, but I will worry about that when it happens. Nor
do I have nicotine stains. Cow shit, yes!
There is probably nothing to get too concerned about immediately, but I
would suggest that you keep very careful records of oil/hours from now on to
identify any trends at the earliest.You probably dont need advice as obvious
as that though.
