Hi Ira,
Very interesting info.  Do you have any more background on the following
topics:-

UK Rotax distributor, suggested that EGT measurement was not required on the
912s and 912Ss, because the mixture was not controllable.  I also understand
that we should aim to keep the coolant temp at about 90*C and the oil temp
at about 95* - 100*C, in the cruise.
