Hi, Bob...
One quick war story... On a solo flight one day, I kicked my T-28 into a
spin and held it there for the required two turns. When I tried to recover,
I discovered that the heel of my low-quarter had stuck under the rudder
pedal, quite effectively jamming it in place. Just about pulled the shoe
apart. Interesting few seconds.
