Hi Erich
Did you mount the inertial reels on the same anchor point that the
Europa harnesses use? How much did they cost. I couldn't find a price
list.
Thanks

Sorry to take sooooo long getting back to everyone on the part numbers
for the AMSAFE seat-belts I am using on my bird. They are a four point
harness with inertial reels part number 4038. They can be found at:

http://www.amsafe.com/images/pdfs/4pointcatalog.pdf

see page 52.

I am very pleased with the units, especially the inertial reels. They
are so comfortable and allow one to move forward and aft without having
to constantly adjust the vertical straps. An added benefit is that since
the vertical straps are on reels there is no tendency for these straps
to cause the lap belt to "ride" up on ones belly which I have found to
be the case with supplied Europa belts. It seems with the Europa belts
that no matter how tight the lap belt is as soon as you adjust the
vertical straps to be snug, then the lap belt starts to "ride up" on the
body. As you know the lap belts need to remain low and tight around the
waist. With the AMSAFE this is never a concern.
