I'm sure everyone has their favourite tools and tips. For us tools:
Dremel - mainly sanding wheels amd glassfibre reinforced cutting wheels
but a million uses.
Resin pump - there are those for and against but having used one we're
in the 'for ' camp
Permagrit tool pack
Straight edge of various lengths - we got aluminium extrusion from a
window manufacturer (one of the builders)
Rubber squee gee from aircraft spruce - larger and gentler than plastic
'credit card' type
Empty (and unused) mastic tubes - great for laying beads of redux (eg
bonding in cockpit module)
Loads of clamps - the overgrown clothes peg type have been great.
