Hi! Doug.
No reason whatever. except when completely aligned front to back I have
passed the cables through plastic pipe guides about every 3ft.(where they
exit the tunnel, where they pass the "H" balance weight bump stop at least.)
If you oscillate the rudder whilst on the ground, by your feet on the
pedals, you can make the turnbuckles just catch the floor I have stuck a
little patch of felt on the floor in the appropriate place, there is no sign
of any wear.

To all who go before me:

Any reason you can give me to "Not" install turnbuckles on my rudder cables
to be able to fine tune for cable stretch and personal preference in the
future?

Thanks in advance,
