Hi! Terry/all
That is one reason mine is heavy, the other is that heavy trailers don't
bounce making tie downs damage the cargo! Nothing in my trailer is / or
needs tying down.

Hi all,

One comment on covered trailers. In a recent conversation about trailers
with a builder of a 'Kitfox' like homebuilt (a forget the name of the kit),
He commented that the trailers, even with the plane in them, are fairly
light, making them very susceptible to cross winds when being towed. Sail
plane trailers are long with a pretty low profile, so they are not as easily
blown around as a wider/taller enclosed trailer would be.

Just a thought,
regards,
Terry Seaver
