....not quite so, the tension is merely adjusted a tad by rotating the 
loop a few degrees- friction between cable and nylon sleeve holds it in 
place and the lockwire makes sure it won't slide back....
In the worst case the wire breaks and allows the arm to go a few mm's 
off to the side..
