Here are the FAA requirements for certified aircraft....

Anti collision strobe must project 360 degrees around the horizontal
plane and must project +- 75 degrees vertically. the minimum power is
400 candela at horizontal reducing to 20 candela at 75 degrees. Anti
collision lights must converge within 1200 feet fore and aft. If
convergence is greater than 1200ft at rear a third strobe should be used
aft.

Position lights..

Red and green must project from straight forward back to 110 degrees.
White light should project from aft forward to 70 degrees.

The strobe and position lights must be on independent circuits.

Having said all that... on the Europa a set of integral wing tip mounted
position/strobe lights meets the requirements. I (and many others) used
the Whelen custom low energy system from Aircraft Spruce part #11-05600,
yours for a mere USD745.
