A similar thing happened on mine, tho not involving flight.  It was a
tiny something fouling the CS07/CS08 crank on the back end of the
torque tube, preventing any right aileron. That's a difficult
inspection area, and open to the outside when derigged.  The lesson
was that I could feel something was down there, as it bulged the
outside skin when I moved the stick, but it took several tries with an
inspection mirror to spot it.  Perhaps best done with a trained mouse
with a tiny "helmet cam?"  Anyway, an important inspection area for
any loose nut, tie wrap, or construction debris that can find its way
to foul CS08.
