Then you need to consider the depth of the material and it's softness.  Soft
ali will require a slower speed than hard ali.  Brass can be quite quick and
doesn't need any lubrication.  Stainless should be quite slow with a
suitable lubrication, but mild can be a medium sort of speed.

No one can reccomend a speed to set the drill up for as it will need
depending on what you are drilling.  There is no one-speed-for-all setting.
