That search just caused a temporary dearth of 914 engines! The military
drone market has kicked in
since Kosovo and the Afganistan war. If you had tried to order a 914 as
soon as a month ago, you
would have had a year wait. However, John Hurst now tells me that the
factory has increased production
a lot and there should be 914s in at the US distributor by end January.
Me wonders just how many 914s were being produced per week before the big
bulge. To go from 1 year
wait to 1 month wait in 1 month implies lotsa excess capacity.
