**********************************************************

I built my Europa Classic G-BWVS #85 in a single garage, and whilst it
slowed me down quite a lot it wasn`t too difficult.
I had the "advantage" of starting the project in a large double garage with
a loft, and after completing the tail kit, moved to a much smaller house
with only a single one - this of course involved all the floor and wall
painting, insulating the roof and so on all over again, as well as a 6 Month
moving in period when nothing was done.
However, with lots of ingenuity, learning to climb over & under, and a range
of handling gadgets, the project was completely built, filled, spray painted
& instrumented ready to fly in 2000 hours.
Once the fin and engine was fitted I had to make a small extension to the
front of the garage by putting the up`n over door fully up, and boxing in
the resulting hole with some spare interior doors I found in the loft. Three
of these were hinged to give access at the front.
The neighbours were pretty good about it all really!!
I have now tidied up the arrangement, with some smart white panelled doors
and the whole aircraft lives indoors for no cost.
Members may be interested that I have developed single handed rigging, which
I use regularly. Just 1 hour after pulling out of the garage at home I can
be taxying up to the flight line at Popham (15 mins from home), ready for
take off - what a marvellous aeroplane -
The main thing to remember though is that I enjoyed every minute of the
building process, which is probably why it didn`t drive me nuts!!

Happy building

Dave Bishop
