Hi all,
In finishing up the rudder horn xs fast build kit I found that the
combined height of AN960-10L washer and XTW11 spacer is more than that of
six AN970-3 washers called for in the manual causing the horn to not be
square with the rudder. If you add one more 970 washer (7) total it
works out about right. This in turn lifts the horn off the rudder base
so it is not flush as it shows in the manual diagram.
Has anyone else cut down the XTW11 spacer to even this out? All it would
take is the width of one washer . It should still leave room for
attachment of the rudder cable /thimble.
