Fwd: Rotax valve problems

Subject: Fwd: Rotax valve problems

I've received the following plea from Africa. Does anyone know
anything that might help this guy? I know he flies a Kitfox, but
let's try not be prejudiced! If you know of a general problem in this
context, it might be appropriate to copy your response to the list as
well as sending info direct to Simon Cox.

NB Some brain engagement required - Simon is NOT on the Europa e-mail
list so you'll have to manually copy his e-mail address into your
outgoing header if you want him to benefit from your pearls of wisdom!

regards

Rowland

>Dear Rowland Carson. James Woolmer gave me your contact, and I wonder if
>you may help me.Do you know anything of Rotax 912S engines dropping valves.
>Here in Kenya this has happened twice in a very short space of time with

>this problem and do you have a solution. I do not want another engine from
>Rotax if it is exactly the same.
>Many thanks, Simon Cox
