The weight of a wet and ready-to-run 912 is a somewhat illusive number, but
its at least 180lbs. A 912 taken complete (with prop., oil tanks and
everything) from an Avid recently (for its stator mod) weighed very much
closer to 200lbs. The Subarus weighed considerably more than that and
required ballast as well as the battery in the tailcone.
There are even heavier conversions than that in Europas (ref. Tony Wickens
e-m). Lets have some real data!
