My XS manual says I should cut a 10mm wide
slot in the top of the tunnel for the retraction lever,
75/85mm from the center line. When I mark the
proposed slot in pen it goes off the left side of the
top of the tunnel at the rear part of the slot.
Trimming the aluminum cover plate to the tunnel
side would leave no material on the left side
of the slot in the plate.
It seems the slot needs to be at least 10mm
further to the right, but I wonder about
possible interference in the wheel well
with other components.
Has anyone else noticed this ?
