Javier,
I did the following.
Buy 2 locks from a hardware shop or locksmith that have a swinging arm
which can be swung both anticlockwise and clockwise.(OK for both doors)
Make sure they are the type that when you pull the key out, the arm is
locked it that position.(Down or Up)
Position one on each door, at the aft end of the longer push rod where
the side panel intersects the bottom panel.Easy to unlock door from that
position while still standing on the ground and not the wing.
Position them so that the arm swings over the push rod when locked.Fits
well.
Mark the position then drill a hole the size for the lock barrel on the
outside. Drill a larger hole on the inside to be able to position the
lock. This hole can later be covered by a rubber groumet to allow access
to the lock at any time.
Take the push rod out and place over the rod where the lock arm swings
over it a metal collar which you can buy at a hareware store used to
stop drills drilling to a certain depth.Use the grub screw to position
the collar.
Or buy a slightly larger diameter aluminum rod and drill a hole through
it the same size diameter as the push rod and redux that into position.
Position the collar as required so that when the door is closed the
swinging arm swings down onto the collar and taking key out LOCKS THE
DOOR.
Cheers,
Tim
