The spar is easily supported on a table or a low set of steps and will take
up 0 and 90 stable positions, clamped for security with blocks either side.
With blocks cut at an angle intermediate slopes can be achieved if required,
though if you can keep you paint spray thick enough to avoid runs, these
won't be required..
For the wing tip the simplest is a cord loop from a beam above with suitable
protection round it. If you intend to do single-handed rigging later then
build your wing tip trolley now (see the (rather poor) picture in Europa
Flyer last year). This will give you the two horizontal positions, and a
simple padded stirrup will supply the two "leading edge up/down" stances
(where the would cords get in the way) if you really need such positions. I
hardly think a fully rotating spit is required ( apart from barbecues (:-))
For tailplanes, the original conformal packing foam makes a nice base after
cutting back the protruding leading edge a bit.
