Christian,

They are doing well--Dan has been back at work for about 3 weeks now (he is
still not allowed to drive, SOP for a head injury per his doctor). He's
already trying to decide what to do next--not real sure if he will build
again--will probably buy a 4 seater (C-172, Maule, etc...)

Chuck is still fighting a battle with pain management, but has also
returned to work (on a very limited basis, though). He has a broken Rt leg
and 4 crushed vertebra, but no spinal injury. It will take him 4 to 6
months to fully recover, but should be back to about 90% in a month or so.

Both are in good spirits--both will fly again.

The plane is pretty much a total loss--Dan is going to wait a couple of
months more before he starts tearing it down--he will have a lot of parts,
but not enough to rebuild (flaps, ailerons, tailplanes, rudder, tailwheel,
etc are all undamaged...The wings and forward fuselage are demolished or
broken beyond repair) It sure is sad to see all that work sitting in a
pile in the shop.

Thanks for your interest

Marl
