The location of turnbuckles in the rudder cable clearly requires a bit of
forethought to avoid contact with adjacent bulkheads, fairleads, etc.
Sometimes overlooked is the desirability of being able to disconnect the
turnbuckle and slide the cable partially out of its nylaflow sheath (if used)
to allow careful and complete inspection, especially of the area which
contacts the pulleys. A fairlead at the bob weight structure will likely need
to allow extraction of the cable to facilitate this inspection, perhaps using
a section of nylaflo with a slit as Tony K suggested.

Once all the constraints are considered the location of the rudder cable
turnbuckles is more constrained than one would anticipate at first glance.
Selection of the optimum installation point is left as an excercise for the
student (paraphrasing what they used to say in physics class when posing a
really puzzling problem).
