Good question, Steve. In later chapters of the manual, the introduction
sometimes lists which pieces are to be painted, which primed, alodined,
etc., but the tailkit manual doesn't say a word. In general, if it can
corrode, it will, so don't let it. I always ask locally before screwing
it up. I will be interested to see what the netters say.

Gentle Builders,

As I gaze longingly/fretfully at my garage full of Europa parts (was Dr.
Frankenstein nothing more than a misguided homebuilder?) I find myself
looking at the various plates, hinges, rods, etc. and wonder aloud "How
much of this stuff am I supposed to <insert preferred corrosion proofing
process here>?"

Looking forward to your hints,

Steve G.
