Hi Dennis,

On the 912S, Rotax uses VDO resistance/temperature sensors for CHT, part #VDO
310.274/082/017. Resistance is about 1000 ohms at 20C, 220 ohms at 60C, and
about 10 ohms at 150C: i.e., considerable curvature.

EGT sensors are not provided.

The oil temperature sensor is VDO 323.801/010/001, with similar resistance
characteristics to the above.

The oil pressure sensor is resistance/pressure, again by VDO but with no part
# given in the manual. Resistance is about 10 ohms at 0 bar and 180 ohms at
10 bar with apparently a straight line characteristic.

The electrical output for the tach produces one positive and one negative
pulse per revolution. The voltage with 100 ohm load varies from 2.5v to 7.5v
depending on rpm.

A mechanical tach conection is also available.

As an aside, a starter relay was included with the engine. However the 5 way
fuel manifold shown in the Rotax installation manual was not provided although
it looks like a very useful thing to have.
