Marl Loemuhle EDLM is where D-EHBT is hangered and is in the triangle you
mentioned. We are about 10 mins from the dutch border about 15 min from
Stadtlohn. 2hrs from Lydd or Clacton (for the brave flyers who do not mind 1 hr
over water direct to Holland).
Unfortunately I am the only builder that I know in the area. Norman Adam lives
in Bruggen which is near Monchengladbach but his Europa is for sale due to
health reasons. Thomas Scherer is the nearest (Bonn).
If any of you want to visit you are most welcome and we have a couple of spare
rooms.
If anyone is looking for an interesting destination to meet I would like to
suggest Texel. This is the first island (Dutch) in the chain up the North Sea
coast. Super friendly field with crossed grass runways and a good Vacation spot
with hotels or camping/bycicle hire etc.
Let us give it some thought and get some ideas from other people.
