Yesterday saw the first flight of G.MAVE. This is Doug Fields (b/n no 143)
100hp Subaru powered mono wheel Europa. Some early engine running problems
and a tyre blow-out have delayed this for a couple of weeks, but all went
fine yesterday. The extra weight of this machine gave a really smooth flight
in the hands of Peter Kember with landings and take-offs particularly easy,
although responsiveness is a bit damped. It is a very nicely finished
example as well.
