Ed, think that should be nitrous oxide.

Seriously, the nitrous oxide injection was controlled from the clutch lever,
clutch in, injection off. If you kept injecting with the load off the engine
it would over rev and self destruct in a moment. Practically, the 912 crank
and conrods probably wouldnt take the extra power.
Does anyone know more about Rotax testing a 912 with fuel injection?, does it
use the same crank, pistons, can it be bolted in place of the carbs? thats a
thought for those extra 20 hp.
