No, it is the front bearing. See Brian Allsop's email yesterday. It's the
flanges that behave as a clamp. The module fortunately hadn't been
installed.
You could stick some Tufnol and Aluminum in the freezer and measure the
contraction. Andy said he would try and look up the figures but he's busy,
poor boy.
