I am about to fit my aileron controls to the cockpit module. How much freedom
do you reckon I should have with these bearings? Without touching the
bearings I can get the control stick to fall to centre under its own weight
with the cockpit module inverted.
I also assume that the problem mainly occurs with the rear bearing because I
can't imagine you happily dismantling the front bearing once all the
metalwork is reduxed and rivetted in place around the Tufnol!!
