I had a talk with Ampreg agents here in NZ AKL regarding your worry. They 
indicted to me that the discolouring was not a problem. Only when it 
starts to crystilize then it can be a problem. Even then by reheating it 
and returning it to its previous viscosity it can be still used. However 
that may be time to discard. Tony K found the prices here of the Ampreg 
products was very competitive!!I have slight discolouring of my first 
bottle placed into the pump.
