IYHO where should the hinge pin lie in relation to the edge of the flange.
Your technigue here would seem to indicate that the hinge pin will lie
outside the flange area and if so, by how much. I wondered about this when
doing my trim tab attachment where my hinge pins lie slightly in the cutout
and therefore within the flange. I realise now that replacing these hinge
pins in the future will be a pig of a job.
