There`s an advantage in using an early version of Motronic: it doesn`t shut you down at service time and the error code memory can be interogated by blink codes rather than dealer-only servicce kit. Later Motronic developments are more appropriate to cat. equiped engines. Anything Germanic is dear! But certainly less than Rotax prices and BMW spares availability is very good.
