Aircraft Spruce have a good range of antennae designed specifically for
composites. The range includes com, nav and transponder and are designed
with a flexible substrate and necessary ground planes to fit just about
any composite aircraft. They are, in effect, flexible printed circuit
boards. The price is good as well.

Some of the guys here in Auckland have made their own antennae and have
used self adhesive copper strip to create the dipole and baluns for
impedance matching.
