     Hello all,

ref Thomas's fuel tank problems on tank shrinkage during layups and
cure, would it not be possible to fit a foot or so of tube to the filler
hole angled upwards and then pour some fuel into the tank when its upside

down in the cockpit moulding ? It would also need something on the vent
outlet too, but you would only need a few litres of fuel to keep things
wet. BTW, wouldnt it be better to open the holes in the tank with a hot
length of metal, say a welding rod, so that bits of plastic dont fall
inside the tank when you use a hole cutter? (empty it first...!)

After a few hours of happy flying, we are all going to want to grease
various pivot points such as the tailplane bushes etc. Has anyone
installed grease nipples yet to make this easier ?

     chus, dave.

ps, a plea to all on compuserve, please stick your names on the end of
the email, numbers are so impersonal !
