Graham - I'm not _yet_ a builder. Although I haven't yet relinquished the
day job to take up full-time aeroplane production, I might be able to find
time to organise a database that builders could use. I'm heavily into
FileMaker Pro on the Mac, and from that could generate files of a type to
suit any Mac or mess-dos/windoze database. I can produce discs in both
formats as well as distribute by e-mail. I've also got a large stock of
sticky labels (acquired at very low cost) for my laser-printer so that
might be useful too.

Obviously it would be easiest if I didn't have to type in all the info. I
guess the factory must have at least a text listing of all the parts
packets, although I would say they really ought to have it on a database.
If I could get hold of a soft-copy of that, I'd be 90% there (you know,
only 50% left to do ...).

Maybe we should take this into private e-mail while we sort out the
possibilities, to avoid clogging up the list with details.

Maybe a request for a soft-copy of the parts list might be best coming from
an actual builder, rather than a future builder like me.

E-mail me if you want to take this further.

(PS I'm also considering taking up Ron's request in the latest Europa Flyer
to index the newsletters.)

cheers
