I could and probably should have added that Andy Draper knows as much or
probably more than anyone else about the Europa, and Francis Donaldson knows
as much and probably more than anyone else about design, structure and
safety of small aircraft & home builts - don't forget he is solely
responsible for the system which in the UK gives Permit aircraft essentially
the same safety record as GA certified aircraft - not something that applies
in many countries. If these two say this is an appropriate solution, why
should ordinary mortals doubt it?
